Getting Started: Start your medallion by positioning your first kite. Measure your kites from the top tip to the bottom tip, then double this number to find out how wide and high your finished medallion will be. The finished medallion size should be about 11 centimeters X 11 centimeters(4.25 inches). Each tile should be, approximately, a 4 centimeter(1.5 inch) square.

Glue your first kite in place with a permanent acid-free glue stick. Next, add your second kite by lining it up with the first kite.

Continue by adding a third and fourth kite...

Continue this process until you have finished your medallion!
